Making Mum's life easier - Baby Light Show
My parents bought me the Tomy Winnie the Pooh Sweet Dreams lightshow as a gift when my baby was born. For the first 6 months I used a crib at my bedside and I thought it would be good to use
when my baby finally went into her cot in her own room.
However, one evening when I couldn’t get baby settled, I grabbed the box, ripped it open and switched it on (everything was done maniacally in the first few months). My baby happily lay staring at the projections on the ceiling and eventually dozed off.
I went downstairs to relax, but about an hour later she woke and started to cry. I was just about to run upstairs to start tummy rubbing (and any other technique I could possibly think of to soothe her) when the light show started. I watched her in the monitor happily staring at the images and she settled quickly and went back to sleep…Bliss!
I didn’t even know about the voice-activation, as I hadn’t bothered to read the instructions. How amazing is that? Don’t worry as it only goes off when the noise reaches a certain level so it won’t accidentally start when your little one snores or makes other small noises.
